THE MEDITERRANEAN OF SOROLLA.

“This is the place I always dreamed of, sea and mountains, but what a sea!” This is how Sorolla described the image of this Levantine town. The intense green color of its pine forests that extends to the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean creates a perfect combination of colors that the painter knew well how to capture in his paintings, and it is difficult to escape the charms of this town surrounded by Cape San Antonio , Montgó and Cabo de la Nao, the easternmost in Spain. The contrasts that Jávea has attracts the visitor in its most sensorial part, a mountain full of pine, almond and carob trees and coves with turquoise waters, white limestone houses that combine with the Tosca stone so typical of the area and that, together with the Cobbled streets make up an attractive historic center.

SAND BEACHES AND INCREDIBLE COVES

In the lower part of Jávea there are two centers, the lively Arenal promenade, with an extensive beach and a huge range of beach bars, some of them mythical for their chill-out atmosphere such as La Siesta, Montgo di Bongo or El Achill and Restaurants such as the well-known Thai-style MonsoonThai in the area or La Perla de Jávea where you can taste excellent rice dishes with incredible views. But without a doubt, one of the areas that are most in vogue in recent years is the port; quieter but with magical places such as La Grava cove with the chic-casual style restaurant Cala Bandida and a very lively promenade on summer nights with its craft stalls.
